Landscapers refuse work for gay couple – U.S. Life – MSNBC.com
As I read this I struggled whether to comment or not. I have a family member who informed they were gay. I respect their privacy and practice principles before personalities. I think anyone business should have be able to practice principles before personalities. When the Landscapers refused to work for the gay couple, as a business were they choosing or acting on principle.
A better to have handled it might have been, just to have not taken the job and saying we are unable to fulfill the job at this time, without giving any reason. So what has happened, is now the business owner has been forced into no longer being able to serve those that they wish to serve. What is so wrong with that? If a black business owner decided that he only wanted to serve black clientele, should he be forced to serve oriental also? It only becomes an issue when you make it an issue for me having refused to serve you.
