Forward of email received.  Must read for Democrats and Republicans alike!!!
”I’ve  been saying this for years, but this email probably  explains it better and more clearly.  This is  NOT a political message, but rather a clarification  to remind us all of the correct  facts.”

Remember that on October 9, 2007, 11  months before our “economic  crisis”  occurred (that was actually created), the Dow hit  its highest point ever, closing at 14,164.53 and  reaching 14,198.10 intra-day level 2 days  later.  Unemployment was steady at 4.7%.   But things were already being put in place to create  the havoc we’ve  all been experiencing since then.  And it all  started, as this email explains, on January  3,  2007.

I’m  sending this to each of you regardless of your party  preferences because I believe it is something you  may not have considered.
This tells the  story, why Bush was so “bad”  at the end of his term.
Don’t just skim  over this, it’s not very long, read it slowly and  let it sink in.  If in doubt, check it  out!!!

The day the Democrats took over  was not January 22nd 2009, it was actually January  3rd 2007, which was the day the Democrats took over  the House of Representatives and the Senate, at the  very start of the 110th Congress.
The  Democratic Party controlled a majority in both  chambers for the first time since the end of the  103rd Congress in 1995.
For those who are  listening to the liberals propagating the fallacy  that everything is “Bush’s Fault”, think about this:  January 3rd, 2007 was the day the Democrats took  over the Senate and the  Congress.
    At the  time:
The DOW Jones closed  at 12,621.77
The GDP for  the previous quarter was  3.5%
    The Unemployment rate  was 4.6%
George Bush’s  Economic policies SET A RECORD of 52  STRAIGHT  MONTHS of JOB GROWTH
     Remember the day…
January 3rd, 2007 was the  day that Barney Frank took over the House Financial  Services Committee and Chris Dodd took over the  Senate Banking Committee.  The economic  meltdown that happened 15 months later was in what  part of the economy?  BANKING AND FINANCIAL  SERVICES!
Unemployment… to this CRISIS  by (among MANY other things) dumping 5-6 TRILLION  Dollars of toxic loans on the economy from YOUR  Fannie Mae and Freddie Mac FIASCOES!
Bush  asked Congress 17 TIMES to stop Fannie & Freddie  – starting in 2001 because it was financially risky  for the US economy.
And who took the  THIRD highest pay-off from Fannie Mae AND  FreddieMac?  OBAMA.   And who fought against reform of Fannie and  Freddie?  OBAMA and the Democratic  Congress.
So when someone tries to blame  Bush.  REMEMBER JANUARY 3rd,  2007….
Budgets do not come from the White  House. They come from Congress and the party that  controlled Congress since January 2007 is the  Democratic Party.
Furthermore, the  Democrats controlled the budget process for 2008  & 2009, as well as, 2010 &  2011.
In that first year, they had to  contend with George Bush, which caused them to  compromise on  spending, when Bush somewhat belatedly got tough on  spending increases.
For 2009 though,  Nancy Pelosi & Harry Reid bypassed George Bush  entirely, passing continuing resolutions to keep  government running until Barack Obama could take  office.  At that time, they passed a massive  omnibus spending bill to complete the 2009  budgets.
And where was Barack Obama  during this time? He was a member of that very  Congress that passed all of these massive spending  bills, and he signed the omnibus bill as President  to complete 2009.
If the Democrats  inherited any deficit, it was the 2007 deficit, the  last of the Republican budgets. That deficit was the  lowest in five years, and the fourth straight  decline in deficit spending. After that, Democrats  in Congress took control of spending, and that  includes Barack Obama, who voted for the  budgets.
If Obama inherited anything, he  inherited it from himself. In a nutshell, what Obama  is saying is “I  inherited a deficit that I voted for and then I  voted to expand that deficit four-fold since January  20th.”

There  is no way this will be widely publicized, unless  each of us sends it on!

Comments re Ron Paul and 9/11

Briefly in typical internet fashion I browsed though my emails, and blogs and while there I saw that Ron Paul had commented that had he been in power, 3000 people would not have been killed at 9/11 in answer to someone saying that Osama Bin Laden would not have been killed.

There are those who keep blaming this country for being attacked on 9/11.  But, somehow they will not look at the history books and keep overlooking that we have been under attack by Muslim or Islam extremist since the beginning of our Navy and Marine Corps in 1783.  While I may agree that we need to be out of Afghanistan and let the drug dealers continue to handle the job, I disagree that had we been isolationist we would not have been attacked.  The Japanese attacked us when we were attempting to do the very same and every knew that that they were attacking us.

GE Spacemaker II

5out of 5

Pros: Attractive Design, Simple Display, Easy To Clean, Powerful, Easy To Install, Heats Evenly, Simple Controls

Cons: Noisy

Best Uses: Leftovers, Quick Meals, Defrosting

Describe Yourself: Casual Cook

Primary use: Personal

This replaced a GE Spacemaker II that went out on me. I am using an electric skillet, microwave, and toaster oven to cook with. When the microwave went out, trying to cook a bowl of oatmeal was in an electric skillet was experiential. So having the new Spacemaker is pleasant. I think I like the turntable model better. It seems to cook more evenly.

Secretary of Defense disarmed Marines in Combat Zone

As Panetta spoke to a group of Marines, he had them put their weapons outside.  Question 1.  What was he afraid of??  Question 2.  Why is he trying to malign the integrity of one of the finest fighting forces in the world? Question 3.  Did he believe that any of those Marines did not have self control in front of him???  Question 4. One which one of his people does the buck stop as Harry Truman used to say?  5.  Would he do the same thing in meeting were it on the border of the USA and Mexico???

How is it that the Russians know that we are falling apart just as they were?  The result will be the same.  Our Academia is so full of pride that they think that they can create a country that will function on a Socialist system whereas in Europe and the rest of the world, it has failed.

Rock and roll and lock and load!!!

Bring the Troops back from Afghanistan

I have watched for several years with distain the troops being deployed to Afghanistan feeling as if it were another Viet Nam.  The only difference was that we had been attacked on 9-11 and the Twin Towers destroyed.  But now, those who wanting to are attempting to turn this country into a Marxist state and the only purpose of having the military there is keeping it tied up with something so that it cannot be used domestically.

I have watched Michael Yon, a Floridian Veteran, a writer and photographer working embedded both in Iran and Afghanistan.  Now he is recommending that we get out of there.  And what will the troops come home to?  An economy that is being falsely boosted up by the government.  There are 2 opposing thoughts.  One believes in taxing the “rich” and giving it to the poor. The other believes in allowing a tax base so that one man operations can make money and expand and hire others when they do.

What will happen when the Veterans come back.  There is already beginning attempts to cut out benefits.

I would love to watch Michael Yon, follow a troop home to Florida and all the way to the VA hospital.

Bedtime blues

First the outlet in my bedroom goes out in which the overhead fan is plugged into and I used to plug my cell phones into.  I went to turn the power off and noticed that when it was done, the outlet stayed on.  Next, my stove went out.  I thought to myself, well, I found an electric skillet.  All I need is my microwave, the toaster oven, and the electric skillet. I was cooking veggies tonight and the microwave went out.

As I went to cook some oatmeal this evening I realized that I don’t have a microwave.  I tried to cook it in the electric skillet.  It really did not work.  I think I will see if I can heat up a pan now using the skillet…If I can then I will be able to cook…But if not I will have to get a microwave.
